Wilmslow Art Trail

Nearly there. 5th 6th 7th October, all paintings framed and ready.
This year I have many small paintings as well as very affordable Lino prints.
Come and browse and enjoy a glass of Sherry.

The Finished Painting

I finished this rather a few months ago before the weather became far too hot. The background underwent a few evolutions (meaning scrubbing out and repainting) before the current one tentatively emerged. It had to work with the whole feeling and meaning around the figure, so i had to keep trying various options until it all felt right.

Wilmslow Art Trail is almost here. I will be open at my house 10-4  Friday 13th to Sunday 15th October. Ceramicist Clive Weake is exhibiting with me. Birds

After an initial idea of a person releasing a bird, which i found had a personal symbolism for me, the idea started to run almost by itself, and be most enjoyable. Check them out on my Symbolic images page. More to be added soon.

Liminal

On Friday afternoon, 3rd March i will be putting up my new series of paintings, in RISE Wilmslow.
There will be 18 paintings. I am very excited. I hope that RISE customers like them.

Reviving my blogsite

I've been reviving my blogsite in review of the fact that i have been doing a lot of different work since i last updated it. And have interesting projects for painting and exhibiting coming up.
